Lord of the Rings Silver Coin. I have been collecting pens, pen accessories and coins for over 25 years and I have decided to sell virtually my entire pen and coin collections. The Coin commemorates the Lord of the Rings with a depiction of the RING OF POWER. This is a PROOF coin in its original MINT Capsule and comes with a its ORIGINAL presentation case from The Zealand Post (official post office of the country of New Zealand).

The coin contains 1 ounce of. 925 Silver and 24 Carat Gold Plating and is a beautiful, limited edition coin.

The coin has a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the reverse as well as identifying the coin as coming from the New Zealand. ORIGINAL Presentation Box from New Zealand Post.

Peter Jackson, the director of The Lord of the Rings Movie Trilogy, was definitely a hometown hero in New Zealand. In fact, I have a distant connection with Peter Jackson having stayed in a rental home he occupied for a period of time while filming part of the first Lord of the Rings movie.
