The fourth issue of the DC ComicsT Series 60th Anniversary Justice LeagueT is dedicated to SupermanT. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver.

The motive features an image of the so-called'Man of Steel' in color as well as the SupermanT Logo. The design is completed by the background engraving of SupermanT flying over the city of MetropolisT. The reverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and the year of issue.

SupermanT had its first appearance in 1938. Originally native to the planet Krypton and equipped with super powers, SupermanT has dedicated himself to the fight for justice on Earth. Together with the other founding members Wonder WomanT, AquamanT, FlashT, Green LanternT, BatmanT and Martian ManhunterT he belongs to the Justice LeagueT since 1960. The limited SupermanT silver proof coin is delivered in an acrylic coin case and the original SupermanT packaging.
